Among these innovations, the latest solution for drainage collection patented by Hydroponic Systems stands out: its HS Evolution Pot. This is a unit that favours the cultivation of strawberries in a bulk substrate in a new Spacer format. This system is effective and sustainable, as it is made of highly resistant and durable materials and avoids the use of plastic bags with the substrate. This improves environmental benefits and allows farmers to save associated costs such as the removal of plastic at the end of each crop cycle.
In addition, visitors will be able to see the rest of the Hydroponic Systems catalogue on site. Hydroponic Systems will be exhibiting its drainage collection units on stand B-53 (hall 3.1) for growing both on the ground and above ground, either hanging from the ceiling or raised on adjustable poles.
Hydroponic Systems has been installing its solutions in greenhouses around the world for more than a decade with very positive results: Mexican farmers found that the use of the Evolution system (Spacer with metal gutter) improved by 5% over similar units on the market, while a Japanese farmer suddenly increased his production by 12% by installing Hydroponic Systems’ lifting units.
