It is a drainage collection system that saves around 80% of irrigation water and also improves the yield per plant by providing the roots with more aeration and oxygenation. It combines a polypropylene channel and a Spacer that lifts the substrate bags high enough so that the roots never come into contact with undesirable moisture, thus avoiding diseases.
This improvement has allowed for the precise distribution of nutrients and water while avoiding problems with excessive moisture and plant root diseases. Greenheart Farms has obtained outstanding results by implementing these technologies, achieving a significant increase in yields and a noticeable improvement in the quality of its products.
