The school is working with students on a project to renovate their school garden, an initiative they have submitted to the Endesa Foundation’s Ecoinnovation contest
Hydroponic Systems has participated this week in a training session to 1st ESO students of the Monteagudo-Nelva school (Murcia, Spain) to instruct them on the wide benefits of growing without soil and the positive repercussions it has for the environment, such as saving water and reducing the use of pesticides and chemicals in agriculture. The talk was given by agronomist María Giménez.
This training day is part of a project that the Monteagudo-Nelva school is promoting with its young students: renovating their school garden. This initiative aims for students to know this activity and become familiar with the advantages of the use of hydroponics systems and soilless cultivation.
In addition, the project has been submitted to the Endesa Foundation’s Ecoinnvocation contest. This award aims to promote eco-biosocial competence and more excellent knowledge of our biodiversity among teachers and students from schools throughout Spain.
